Graeme Reilly

Graeme Reilly is a historian, researcher, and author for the Altona Laverton Historical Society. His
tasks include taking groups on tours through the Altona Homestead and talking about its interesting
180-year history.He has a bachelor in Education and Training from the University of Melbourne and spent over fifteen
years in the training field travelling to the UK, New Zealand, and the United States. Graeme has been
a member of the local historical society for over ten years and has co-authored one book but now
devotes his time to researching and writing articles about early residents and pioneers of the
Hobsons Bay area on the society’s website. Graeme has recently spent the last eight months
researching the lives of the Homestead’s oldest residents Alfred and Sarah Langhorne.
