Fooi-Ling Khoo

Biography

Fooi-Ling Khoo is a registered architect and the director of OOF! Architecture.

Fooi loves the charms + challenges of inner city projects and copes with – maybe even enjoys – demanding heritage contexts, weird sites + eccentric clients. She specialises in one-off residential projects that are as unique as their owners and considers it a privilege to be able to work with them on their most personal – and important project – their home.

Outside the office, Fooi is an enthusiastic supporter of ArchiTeam, an architects’ co-operative representing over 1000 architects in Australia, and is a former director and chair of its board. She enjoys teaching when she can, and has taught design studios at undergrad and postgrad levels at RMIT and the University of Melbourne. Fooi is also a design film nerd and co-founded DADo, the film society of the Robin Boyd Foundation. She takes too many photos and maintains a strict regime of groundless optimism by supporting the St Kilda Football Club.
