Biography
Dominique Hecq was born in the French-speaking part of Belgium. She now lives on unceded Wurundjeri land in Melbourne, Australia. She writes in English and French. Her works comprise a novel, six collections of short stories and fifteen books and chapbooks of poetry. Among many honours Dominique is a recipient of the International Best Poets Prize administered by the International Poetry Translation and Research Centre in conjunction with the International Academy of Arts and Letters, and the James Tate Poetry Prize.
