Rose Lucas

As well as being the founding editor at Liquid Amber Press, Rose Lucas is a poet in Naarm and an academic at Victoria University. She is the author of 4 poetry collections – including Even in the Dark which won the Mary Gilmore Award in 2014 and her most recent title, Increments of the Everyday (Puncher and Wattmann 2022). She has also been involved in several ekphrastic projects with visual artist Sharon Monagle. Together with colleague Ali Whitelock she is currently judging the 2024 Liquid Amber Poetry Prize.
