Anne Elvey

Anne Elvey is a poet, editor and researcher, living on unceded Bunurong Country. Her most recent poetry collection is Leaf (Liquid Amber Press 2022), shortlisted in the 2023 ASLE-UKI Book Prize for the best work of creative writing with an ecological theme. She was inaugural managing editor of Plumwood Mountain journal until 2020. Behind an unkempt garden, home to wattlebirds, brushtail and ringtail possums, occasionally tawny frogmouths and bats, with visiting bees, dragonflies, little ravens and rainbow lorikeets, among others, Anne lives near Port Phillip Bay in Seaford, Victoria, with her partner Greg.
