One of Australia’s most prolific and popular writers in her day, novelist, poet and memoirist, Ada Cambridge lived in Williamstown from 1893 to 1912.
Several of her most celebrated works were produced at Holy Trinity Vicarage on Nelson Place.
The Lit Fest’s long-running annual Writing Prizes, ‘The Adas,’ are named in her honour.
