Sarah Vincent started her writing life as a playwright, her plays have been performed around Australia and in Edinburgh and Athens. She changed to writing fiction and completed the Associate Degree in Professional Writing and Editing at RMIT University in 2016. She works as the Membership Officer at Writers Victoria. Her writing has appeared in several journals and she has been short-listed for two short-form fiction prizes. In 2015 she was accepted into the ACT Writers Hardcopy publishing pathway program. Death By Dim Sim, published by Penguin Random House in February 2017 is her first book. It is a memoir about her forty-kilo weight-loss journey. She is currently working on her detective novel The Fake Detective.
