Nick Gadd

Nick Gadd is a novelist, essayist and blogger. His essays about Melbourne, history, and psychogeography have appeared in The Guardian, Griffith Review, Elsewhere: A Journal of Place and Eureka Street. He currently writes the blog Melbourne Circle about roaming Melbourne’s suburbs in search of ghostsigns, derelict factories and lost greyhound racing tracks. He won the 2015 Nature Conservancy Australia Nature Writing Prize and was shortlisted in the essay category of the 2015 Melbourne Prize for Literature. His first novel Ghostlines, a mystery set in Melbourne, was published by Scribe in 2008. Nick lives in Yarraville.
