Helen Nickas

Helen Nickas was born in Larissa, Greece and came to Australia having completed her high school education there. She studied at the University of Melbourne and taught for many years at La Trobe University. She became an editor and publisher of Greek-Australian literature, publishing many bilingual editions. Among her various edited publications are the companion anthologies, in English, Mothers from the Edge (2006), and Fathers from the Edge (2015).
