Curiosity Killed The Cat – But Will It Kill Us?

Join students from Bayside Secondary College and Mount St. Joseph Girls’ College as they debate the nature of curiosity in the 21st Century. How much curiosity is enough? Are we too distracted by seeking novelty? Chaired by Cr Sandra Wilson.

Mount St. Joseph Girls’ College is a Catholic Girls College located in Maidstone Street, Altona, Victoria, Australia. Mount St. Joseph is one of few schools in Australia that is a Josephite college, founded by the Josephite Order in 1964. Since that time it has educated thousands of young women and developed a rich heritage of striving for excellence in academic endeavour whilst nurturing the individual in a holistic manner. Today it continues to provide a high quality Catholic secondary education within the charism of St. Mary of the Cross MacKillop.

Bayside Secondary College -The Paisley Campus (Years 10-12) is located in Newport and has recently been rebuilt. The new buildings make a bold architectural statement and break out of the usual confines of school buildings. The campus boasts state of the art learning facilities, student cafeteria, outdoor leisure areas, purpose built art and technology rooms, gymnasium, sport courts, information technology hub and a Trade Training Centre. Newport is well serviced by public transport with a station near-by and regular bus services.
